We phoned him and he showed the kids how to make candles – different shapes, colours and sizes.  A very interseting process…  The best part of all… God brings the right people across our paths on the right time during our schooling journey.  We were very exited about our outing because He knows what we need, when we need it!

Mat 5:14  You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.  May we be the light in our daily walk.

We watched the final game at Grandpa & Grandma.  We we’re ready for the final game:  Spain vs Holland….  Despite the lost, we had a wonderful time, following the games, learning the flags, praying into the countries for revival and cooking some traditional food for from the different countries represented.

The house have been rented out – there was damage, but we’re grateful for the time that we had tenants in our house.  With time and effort we’ll repair and fix things.  We’re back in the valley and we are coming back – CHANGED!

We asked the kids before we moved from Noordhoek, “What are we taking back to Brackenfell and how will we do things differently now?”  This was their response…

For the month of June we’ve stayed in the Ark at our church.  We were fortunate to use the facilities on the premises, allocated for missionaries. 

It’s been a challenge!
We’ve moved eight times in the last 17 months.  Brackenfell to Noordhoek Capri, Capri to Kommetjie, Kommetjie to Africa House, Africa House to Noordhoek Chalets, Noordhoek Chalets to The Ark, The Ark to Summerset-West and back into The Ark, The Ark into our house in Brackenfell.

The amazing part is that we felt God was in every move. Allow me tell you one story. It was the last Thursday in May when I just felt we were finished in Noordhoek and we need to return to Brackenfell. I talked to Marlese about it and left it there. Later the same day the agent that was looking after our house phoned me and said that the tenants want to know if they can move out end of June?

I discussed it with Marlese again and explained that maybe we can stay in the Ark, then I will be closer to our businesses in Bellville etc. I started to read my emails. Guess what? There was an email from All Nations asking if our apartment is available for June. Well we immediately started with the arrangements to make the move. Everything worked out perfectly, or at least thats what we thought. Our lease in Noordhoek only expired 31 July and All Nations will takeover the lease for the remainder period, wonderful.

Our church back home (Logos) confirmed the Friday that we can stay at the Ark for the month of June, just great. In the mean time the message that we were happy for the tenants to move out sooner did not reach them. The agent called me on Sunday explaining to me that the tenants lost the house they were going to move to because of this. She asked me if we could cancel the early move to Brackenfell since the tenants now will have to stay till they find a house that suits their family?

I simply said no, we can’t! Everything was already packed we intended to move to Brackenfell on Monday and All Nations is taking our apartment, there is no way that we can cancel the move now.

Well, we then moved to Brackenfell with faith in our hearts that God will provide for both of our families. He did too. We were in the last week of June when the agent informed me that the tenants found a house they like and they will be moving out the end of June. What a relief!

Our faith were definitely tested but as always God showed up on time!

Jules and Mercia took their family holiday trip and decided to make a first stop with us.  We had a wonderful time.  They spoke so many words of life into our lives.  God used Jules to bring insight and wisdom to Conrad and revealed a lot of things regarding the tennis club.  We are privilege to have friends like these.  We share our challenges we face as Church Planters and stand in awe of God’s work in and through us.
