Soccer World Cup Fan Walk

Supporting ORANGE!!!  Holland taking on Uruguay on Tuesday evening, the last night a soccer game will be played in  Cape Town for the 2010 World Cup.  We caught a train (public transport) from Brackenfell station and experienced the vibe of the famous “fan walk”.  The streets filled with spectators, visitors, foreign languages heard, a festive atmosphere and the trumpet sound of blowing vuvuzella’s!!!

We watched the final game at Grandpa & Grandma.  We we’re ready for the final game:  Spain vs Holland….  Despite the lost, we had a wonderful time, following the games, learning the flags, praying into the countries for revival and cooking some traditional food for from the different countries represented.
